Mike Jankowski and Peter Hoeper raced. Julie scored with Deb (errrr let's think of another way of saying that!) No trophies given out at this annual regatta but a darn good time! A good reminder that it's not all about trophies! Perfect ice, great wind and camaraderie! Many traveled great distances -some from Europe! Over 70 racers...more than usual for this "fun & informal" regatta....a great start to the new season! Deb brought up the new Western Region 4 wheeler...what a blessing in the score keeping and safety department! See you on the ice again, soon! Julie J
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.
