Last night the FDLIYC paid a visit to Green Lake to see what was all the talk about the Ice Opti program that was going on. Needless to say we had just about 50 people scattered all throughout the shop working on different projects and others were taking things in. Over the last few years we in GLIYC have had the luxury to have a couple of great opportunities to work on big club projects in our own local shops, not every club has this chance. I think there were a few visitors in awe last night honestly.
Again we had a ton of kids helping out we were able to get two boats painted, a couple planks built, and I believe three sets of runners were cleaned up and sharpened. It was a busy night.
Tonight will be another build night, I think mostly sanding and shaping. As always it is starting at 6:00.
