This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Friday Ice report
We are just starting to get a light snow, the forecast is for 1-3 inches and we shall see what comes of the storm that is suppose to dump on the Southern part of the state. Now for the good news, the ice went out yesterday on the west end, yeah! This morning at 10 am the lake was really flat with no wind and the water was very thick. I think we may have dodged the snow bullet which is going to hit everyone else. We will keep everyone updated but I think we are getting real close.
