From Joe: The kids are making great progress with their boats!! All five runner planks are cut, shaped and sanded, so tonight they will all be epoxy coated. Our worker of the night was definitely Will Kelly, he put us all to shame, although the Wallenfang gang was pushing him hard! We have another work night tonight(Tues 1/17), so we need workers to help these stay on schedule!!!
We have seen some great colors as well, we have orange and purple, lime green, navy and hunter green, who knows what the next two boats will look like. I bet they are cool.
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.
