Youth Revolution

I wrote something this morning and then thought about it again. We had eight kids last night building boats what a huge deal this really is. So I called up another family who has built an Ice Opti last season and is waiting for ice now, and his daughter now wants one too as of this morning.

Where I am going with this is the fact that once you get a core group of kids excited about building and racing it gets really easy to promote. On top of this we also have another group of Opti sailors which are all girls looking to participate as well. I will be talking with that group over the weekend.
They are sailors of different skill levels but they are all very interested.

It could be very exciting to have our first go around in this Youth Revolution with maybe 20 kids involved and growing the club and the sport!
