This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

3/12 morning ice check
What we had last night was a lot of water on top of 15" plus inches of hard ice. So what do we have now? As of 9 am we have the same 15" plus inches of ice, about 1" of water with about 3/4 of an inch of ice on top. Everyone has a different name for it so call it what you want. It supports 200 pounds until you jump on it then you sink down into water.
