This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

This weekend
Still no word on what the O-fficial club stance is for club races this weekend for either fleet. The Nite fleet I think will have some visitors off lake and there is a bunch of people asking for information on where and when. Friday later in the afternoon a few of us will be bringing down more boats to launch, I think I have two more to do as of 6AM. We could get everything from a couple of bubble skeeters to some B skeeters to DN's.
For people coming to spectate or to check things out the better day will be Saturday, the temps will be warmer and the wind more manageable.
Of course all this is taking place at County Park on the West end of Green Lake.
