This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Distribution to the masses
Hey it is not every day you hear the locals say, there's an iceboat club in Green Lake, let alone from the population of sleepy Princeton. But it is amazing what a little work and the old bulletin board at the grocery store will do for you. It is getting people talking.
As for 4000 years of being extreme, it just goes to show iceboaters were more evolved then the Chinese who start writing in 2000 BC, the Europeans who started the Bronze age in the period around 1800 BC, and the Mesopotamians who were just starting to use 6 and 12 decimal systems to judge time. Then again there was probably a lot more Sitka trees standing tall as well.
See you at the meeting Thursday night!!
