This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Friday morning report
The lake is surfacing really well and will only get even better. I went out at 8:30 and found the average thickness at 4 inches. We gained some ice over the past couple of days as well, not toms but for sure some more. We are going out at 4:00 to pick either Sandy Beach or County Park on the west end to launch from.
