Wednesday night report

We got off the ice at 5:00 after walking like 3 miles maybe more. The East end is generally about 3" thick no heaves or holes that we could see in any direction. The better ice was on the West end which had between 3-4". The surface is rather flat with no waves or heaves and no drifts , the few cracks we found were really tight the surface is an orange peel type over about 70% of the lake the rest is smooth. The three of us Mike, Julie and myself graded it out at about a 7.

The plan is to maybe check it again in the late afternoon just for thickness and to see if we are adding anything.
