This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Cool Hand Luke
Well the day started out promising but the conditions got very sticky and hard to sail. With the temps in the 40's the ice became very sticky when the wind shut off. We had a couple of small rides but other then that we are going to have to wait. The positive side was the fact that Luke and Kelsey did get their Ice Opti out and did sail for a while today. It was worth being there to see them sailing around. Maybe Saturday something will happen like a lot of wind, everything freezes harder or what's on top melts down.
