This morning there is nothing like waking up to iceboating on TV, a big shout out to Peter and Maggie Fauerbach for hitting the local Madison Wisconsin news station NBC 15, the clip was nice and I can't believe the ice it looked really good. Then again as Grant F always says it is all camera angles.
The only person up in Madison at 6:30 was probably Peter so its a good thing that they shot his boat down on Baker Street, what a great way to start the morning. So for the 4LIYC guys and gals who is going to get Charlie Shortino the weatherman a ride?
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.
