And yes this is the boat on the ice!
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Other local projects
This winter besides building Ice Optis others have been busy building different iceboats, refurbishing older ones and others buying new projects. One of our club members Rob Fischer has done an extensive rebuild of a J14 this winter with the help of Jim Stolla and Geoff Catlin. You do not see many of these around in this neck of the woods but they are sure interesting boats. They have foot pedal steering and the rumble seat position for the driver, all nice features. Here are some sweet pictures.
