Last night we were out numbered by the youth sailors which is a great sign. We were glueing together boat number six which went pretty smooth. There were a lot of pictures taken which we will get up as soon as they come in. We also have a couple of the high school group looking for an iceboat project, so if you hear of an older boat that needs some restoring just let us know.
If you are around this weekend we maybe having a build party night, we will keep everyone updated.
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.
You have posted here awesome information! I'm looking for some venues in atlanta as want to celebrate my kid's fifth birthday with family and friends. I just want to make my kid feel special on his fifth birthday.
