This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Steaming again
Green Lake is steaming like crazy again. It will not take much more for it to probably go over. My guess is that it will be frozen in the next seven days, we will have to wait and see.
In other news T Morgan has decided to revamp his entire boat a week before season truly starts, an old timer not to be named rubbed his head and shook it a lot upon viewing the work in progress. I guess that is why June - September exists right? Good Luck!
Just maybe we will see a new Nite by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.
One boat out of the shop with two left. Goal this weekend to be completely done. Right.
DN news, I think they had a regatta over in Lacrosse not sure though as finding results to publish are probably harder to get then missile codes back in the day. Maybe it was a bowling regatta after all.
We will keep you all posted if we hear of anything.
No idea if there is a shop night for the club this Wednesday? Bueller Bueller??
Last lots of calls asking about this weekend, all I can say right now is no idea.
