This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Why its always people that make the difference
Some day in the future I plan to be surrounded by ice boaters on Green Lake that all say, that guy gave me my first ice boat ride. Drew Zeratsky
You know there is something to be said for statements that people make. Some say they want to be the best racers, others want to win the big regattas. In the end when the time comes to remember those that truly made a difference, it is amazing but we all remember those that made that difference. The little things were the important ones.
Remember this the next time you hit the ice.
