Everything looked good today till the ice shanties showed up with the mongo four wheel drive tow trucks. The ABA got ripped apart very fast, it is still usable but the better site is the west end of the lake down at county park. There are four launch ramps which two have not been used. People are out sailing some of the small boats and having a blast.
Dinner spots are going fast as we are filling the room quickly.
This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.
