This is the home of "The Green Lake Ice Yacht Club". Our club has a hundred year history of iceboating on Green Lake with our members participating in many of the different classes ranging from DN's, Skeeters, and Renegades, to Nites and Sternsteerers. This site is intended to facilitate communication within the club and with other iceboaters throughout the world. Remember you haven't iceboated till your runners have hit our ice.

Ice Opti night
We had a great turnout as there were seven kids and seven adults in attendance. Not bad for the first night as we had a few families not able to attend this first night due to other programs. So last night was spent building the jig and getting everyone used to using the old tape measure and framing square.
Right now we are thinking that the ambitious idea of building only five boats might not be enough. More could be on the horizon as some other outside groups are also looking at these boats as great winter projects.
