This was the first time in a long time that the club has had a Holiday Party. Wow, we had over 50 people in attendance coming in to spread good cheer, talk about ice boating and have a great meal. There were many new faces there which is just a good way to start the New Year. The highlight of the night was the unveiling of the new ice opti's that the club has been working on all fall. We currently have five decked boats awaiting hardwaring and one more in the jigs.
We've had another runner donation! Member Orlo Bierman dropped off a very nice set of runners that are in perfect condition!! Tom Willett also said he had an opti sail that he would gladly donate!
It was funny having so many kids running around all night, they are excited to get out on the ice on their new boats.
